Amenities

All 5k and One-Mile Youth Race participants will receive a Bunny Dash "Go Green" custom designed T-shirt as well as a one-of-a-kind eco-friendly tote from Whole Foods Market filled with healthy snack foods and recyclable items to use in and out of the home. Water and refreshments will be provided by Whole Foods Market before, during, and after the race.

All 100-Yard Dash Egg Hunt participants will receive a Bunny Dash Bib, a basket, and eggs filled with candy!

Awards

The 5k race is on a USATF sanctioned course and will be timed. Awards will be given to the top three times in each of the respective age divisions, both male and female. Age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.

 All kids who finish the 1 mile race will receive a finisher’s ribbon.

Charities

The Bunny Dash Go Green 5K benefits Fathers Helping Fathers and other local charities.

Location and Time

The start of the race will begin at Deer Grove East Forest Preserve in Palatine, IL near the intersection of W Dundee Rd (Route 68) and N Hicks Rd.

Parking

In the spirit of “Going Green” we ask that all participants help out by carpooling, walking, or biking to the event. Due to the limited parking at the Forest Preserve, there will also be parking in the UPS parking lot.

Packet Pick-up and Registration

Packet pick-up, bib numbers, and race information will be available at Whole Foods Market in Palatine from 12:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 12 and 12:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Friday, April 13.

Day-of registration will be available and will end a half hour before the race's start time. To register online please click here.

Our goal for the race is to be completely 100% green, so we are asking all participants to please register online. This will eliminate a lot of paper usage which is better for the environment. However, if you do not have access to online registration, please contact us at 847-829-4536 for a registration form or to register over the phone.

All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. The event will take place rain or shine and refunds will not be issued based on weather conditions.
